Thank you for visiting LakWeb Hosting SolutionsI. Introduction & Service Eligibility
This Agreement is between LakWeb Hosting Solutions ("Provider") and the user ("Client"). By using our services, the Client confirms they are at least 18 years old and provide accurate billing information.
II. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
The Client agrees not to use the Provider's servers for:
- Illegal Activity: Hosting or distributing copyrighted material without permission, malware, or fraudulent schemes.
- Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk emails. All mailing lists must be "Double Opt-In."
- System Abuse: Excessive use of CPU/RAM on shared servers that impacts other users.
- Vulnerability: Running outdated software (e.g., old WordPress versions) that creates security risks.
III. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Uptime
- Guarantee: We guarantee 99.9% network uptime per calendar month.
- Remedy: If uptime falls below this, the Client may request a pro-rated service credit (e.g., 5% of the monthly fee for every hour of downtime).
- Exclusions: Scheduled maintenance and third-party upstream provider failures are excluded from uptime calculations.
IV. Data Responsibility & Backups
- Backup Policy: While we perform [Daily/Weekly] backups for disaster recovery, the Client is solely responsible for maintaining independent off-site backups of their data.
- No Liability: Provider is not responsible for data loss due to hardware failure, hacking, or Client error.
V. Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds
- Payments: Accounts are billed in advance. Failure to pay within 30 days of the due date will result in service suspension.
- Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for shared hosting fees only. Domain names and SSL certificates are non-refundable.
VI. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LakWeb Hosting Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss of profits, data, or reputation resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
